A Tacoma woman reported returning to her apartment on Pacific Avenue to find a burglary in progress where she was threatened with a gun. Thieves stole items worth about $2,000, and days later, her car also went missing. The woman is now out of work.

The Tacoma Mall Transportation Access Program (TAP), run by Tacoma on the Go, offers free, unlimited regional transit to 148 employees. The ORCA cards are valid from Thursday, Oct. 1, until Sept. 30, 2027. Sign-ups for this program can begin now.
