Juncture is a shared space for diaspora communities. These guidelines keep it trustworthy and safe. By posting, you agree to follow them.
What we welcome
- First-hand, accurate reports about your community and homeland.
- Respectful discussion across cultures, languages and viewpoints.
- Help, events, recipes, milestones and good-faith fundraisers.
What is not allowed
- Copyright infringement — don't paste others' articles wholesale.
- Defamation — serious unverified claims about real people or businesses.
- Privacy violations / doxxing — sharing private personal data.
- Hate speech, incitement or threats of violence.
- Anything that endangers a child. Zero tolerance.
- Scams, fraud, illegal goods, or spam and disguised advertising.
- Dangerous misinformation about health, safety or elections.
How moderation works
Submissions are screened by AI against the rules above and may be auto-approved, sent to a human reviewer, or rejected. Sensitive cases always go to people. Repeated or serious violations can lead to removal of content or loss of posting access.
