Terms of use

Updated 2026-06-28

Juncture is in early beta — features may change, break, or be reset, and we provide the service "as is," without warranties.

_Effective June 27, 2026. Juncture is operated by FutureCraft LLC ("Juncture," "we," "us"). Questions: [email protected]._

1. What Juncture is

Juncture is a community news platform where people post and read local and diaspora news. It is currently early/beta: features may change, break, or be removed, and content or accounts may be reset.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account. You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant Juncture a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, translate, and distribute your content on and through the service. You confirm you have the rights to what you post and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights or break our Community guidelines.

4. Acceptable use

Don't post content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or that contains others' private information without permission. Don't attempt to break, overload, scrape, or misuse the service. We may moderate, remove content, or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

We respond to valid copyright notices and remove infringing material — see our Copyright & DMCA policy. We terminate repeat infringers.

News references, embeds, and links to third-party platforms are provided for information; we don't control or endorse them.

7. Disclaimers & liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Juncture is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for user-posted content. Some content (e.g. market quotes, visa/travel info) is informational only and not professional, legal, financial, or immigration advice — see our Disclaimers. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example, for fraud, or — where applicable — death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your statutory consumer rights).

8. Changes & termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here. We may suspend or end the service or your access at any time, especially during beta.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where your local consumer law gives you stronger rights.
