Chesapeake Educators Urge School Board to Oppose Federal Voucher Program

Educators in Chesapeake are asking the school board to formally oppose a federal voucher program. This program could redirect $22 million in public funding away from the district's schools annually. The union wants the board to ask Governor Abigail Spanberger to opt Virginia out of the initiative.
