Mount Vernon Man Achieves Second-Fastest Time in Bear 100 Mile Endurance Run
Sidney Noble from Mount Vernon recorded the second-fastest time in the history of the Bear 100 Mile Endurance Run. He completed the point-to-point ultra marathon with a time of 17 hours and 39 minutes on Sept. 25 in Utah. The race featured significant elevation change, including 20,000 feet of gain and descent.
