The city of Bellevue has installed speed cameras in four high-risk collision locations as part of its Vision Zero Initiative. Initially, drivers only received warnings for exceeding the limit by 8 mph or more, but tickets will soon be issued. The goal is to eliminate traffic deaths and serious injuries on city streets by 2030.
