Naperville Enforces Ban on Kratom Drug Sales
Smoke shops in Naperville can no longer sell kratom as of Thursday. Mayor Scott Wehrli stated that the city saw four kratom-related overdoses in the first six months of 2026 alone. While possession and use remain permitted, purchasing it within Naperville's limits is banned.
