Bus rapid transit is now running on Denver's Colfax Avenue between Broadway and Colorado Boulevard. The Colfax Business Improvement District announced the start of service after two years of construction. Drivers must use the outer lanes, while buses use a bus-only lane, which changes travel along the corridor.

Rain is possible in Denver day and night through Wednesday. The National Weather Service issued a flood watch for most of southeastern Colorado counties because of possible heavy rain. Denver is not facing the worst of it, but residents should expect wet weather as the storm system nears.

Two people have been arrested after an armed robbery at a home in Denver's Sunnyside neighborhood. Robbers posed as customers of a jewelry seller, and both parents were shot and critically injured. Three suspects are still being sought, and the family is recovering, which leaves the case unresolved for the neighborhood.
