Motorcyclist Dies After Crashing into Caltrans Truck on Highway 99 Near Atwater

A 31-year-old motorcyclist from Suisun City died after crashing into a Caltrans truck on northbound Highway 99 near Atwater on October 6. CHP Merced Area officers responded to the collision, which occurred north of the Atwater Merced Expressway. The man was unable to stop and struck the left rear of the attenuator truck.
