Multiple agencies ended a rescue effort in Mesa after crews pulled an SUV out of a canal. The canal is near Broadway and Signal Butte roads, and crews confirmed a woman inside the vehicle had died. The response has ended, so the area near this intersection is no longer an active rescue scene.
