Gimpo City plans to extend student commuter vehicle support to include high schools next year. The city also intends promoting circular buses with the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education. This expansion will affect many families relying on transportation for their children's education. About 250 parents attended the town hall meeting where this was announced.

Gimpo City created an Integrated Care Division at city hall and a Support Team at the public health center. These new resources aim to connect 17,833 individuals aged 65 or older with necessary services. This structure helps residents access medical and support services as per regional care laws.

Gimpo City conducted safety education on October 7th for about 300 facility and security managers. The training covered disaster evacuation plans, using fire extinguishers, and preventing major crimes within apartment complexes. This knowledge helps maintain safer living conditions for residents of apartment buildings.
