Seven Manipuri Ponies Die from Unidentified Disease in Kakching District

Seven Manipuri ponies have died over the past two weeks due to an unidentified disease outbreak in Kakching district. Blood samples were sent for testing, and officials urge the public not to panic pending lab results. The disease has affected about 30 percent of the pony population there since September 13.
