Scottsdale City Council Review Automatic License Plate Readers

The Scottsdale City Council voted Tuesday night to move up a mayoral request for discussion regarding automatic license plate readers by police. The city plans to take possible action on the use of this technology in early October, with the review scheduled for October 6th. Concerns about the controversial tech were raised by Eric Fowler, chair of the Maricopa County Libertarian Party.
